After the circle’s failed uprising, Magnus moved away from Brooklyn to somewhere that was originally intended to be slightly quieter, only ever intending to stay for a decade or so. But as supernatural activity started to peak, Magnus became more involved in the activities of the McCall pack and those they were again. He would never claim to be part of any pack, his loyalty doesn’t lie in one place but he makes his own judgements every time someone new comes for his help. He wants to protect any supernaturals, especially those he considers too young to be involved in such matters.

Outwardly, Magnus is just a regular student at Beacon Hills High. But like an ever growing number of ‘regular’ students, he had the added bonus of having to cope with the supernatural. His powers as a warlock only began to show when he was 16 and he still hasn’t quite managed to gain full control of them. His magic is closely linked with his emotions, no matter what the emotion is, if it’s strong then something could go wrong. Whether that’s breaking a window or causing a few sparks is hard to predict.
